Creative brain power in the fight for the best new talent
Unconventional, surprising and noticeable – that is how the young company NEXTSENSE, based in Graz, seeks to recruit the best new talent. Potential employees are attracted by the slogan "NEXTSENSE wants your brain" – and on hand at all times: A "chocolate brain".
NEXTSENSE GmbH, global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of optical measurement devices, currently employs 55 people at its Graz location and is growing rapidly. NEXTSENSE is looking to increase its workforce to a total of 145 employees by 2020. The successful company is therefore continuing to grow unimpeded – a course that has already enabled it to increase the number of staff more than tenfold in the past nine years.
"We are looking for committed and ambitious personalities," says Clemens Gasser, Managing Director of NEXTSENSE GmbH. "Due to the strong growth, it is likely that every single department will be affected." Owing to its fundamental dedication to research and development and the ambitious growth targets, the company is primarily recruiting software and hardware developers, as well as technical sales and support managers.
In the current competition for new talent, NEXTSENSE surprises with its unconventional approach - "chocolate brains" are intended to represent a smart career choice. The large crowd at last week's TECONOMY, the largest career fair at the Graz University of Technology, shows that NEXTSENSE is on the right track. Gasser explains: "The problem is that students often do not consider young, small companies when entering into the workforce." In order to change that, NEXTSENSE will continue to attract attention with its recruitment campaigns.
