On 06/28/2012 NextSense officially opened their new office building for families, customers and business partners from politics and economy. The visitors were able to get an idea of the internationally successful test and measurement systems manufacturer. To write the future of their company today, NextSense have decided to leave their old office behind and move into a building with a larger surface and thus enhanced potential for innovation.
NextSense GmbH offers laser-based profile measuring system and individual solutions for different industries in the fast-growing market of optical sensors. In addition to many well-known railway transport and railway supply companies (DB, ÖBB, SBB, Siemens, Stadler, Bombardier, Alstom ...) NextSene also supplies automotive and steel companies such as DaimlerChrysler, Magna Steyr and voestalpine. The company - honoured by the Economic Chamber of Austria as “Best Exporter 2012” in June this year – is a spin-off of the Austrian research company Joanneum Research and currently consists of 27 employees at its new location.
The staff presented their new workplace clearly proud to their families and friends and their innovative products for non-contact profile measurement to their customers and business partners. The day was flanked by an enjoyable program for young and old. In addition to a bouncing train and a painting area for children, the grown-ups were pampered with a delicious BBQ buffet with live cooking. As a highlight the new office building was officially opened with a ceremony by the local council Gerald de Montmorency and the CEO Franz Schiep.
