NEXTSENSE GmbH mourns the death of managing director Franz Schiep, who passed away on Christmas Eve 2016 at the age of 60 after a serious illness. Clemens Gasser, managing director of NEXTSENSE GmbH and colleague of Franz Schiep for many years: "This news is very painful for all of us. With Franz Schiep we lost a man who dedicated all his work to the welfare of the company and who, with his positive and determined manner, significantly contributed to Nextsense’s success. Our deepest sympathies go out to his wife and his family. We mourn with them."

Franz Schiep joined the newly established high-tech company as an International Sales Manager in 2009 and soon after he was appointed as managing director, being main responsible for Marketing and Sales. He built a global network of customers and sales partners and always ensured above average success of the company. Despite the illness that was diagnosed three years ago, his commitment to Nextsense was unbroken. Even after handing over his official function in the last year, he remained closely connected to the company as a consultant and a friend until the end of his life.
