The CALIPRI RCX uses a non-contact measurement method known as laser light sectioning. Simply place the device anywhere in the rolling mill, either manually or using an automated system. At the touch of a button, a sensor in the housing of the measurement device circles the rolled material. This allows profile sections to be captured from all directions, which are then combined to form an overall profile. The profile line immediately appears on the tablet PC and deviations from the target contour can be highlighted in color.

Speed up the conversion process of new rolling profiles with the CALIPRI RCX. The measurement device saves you having to cut and cool down samples. For the first time, it is possible to directly measure hot profiles with the highest accuracy. This makes the conversion process noticeably shorter. In addition, the optical measurement method increases the quality of the measurement results. Obtaining a complete profile line as the measurement result offers up significantly more information and enables more precise adjustments of the rolling stands. The compact measurement device can also simply be moved from one rolling mill to another.
